The distinctive architecture provides high-ceilings for an airy, open feel, complimented by plenty of natural light from the many large windows. Outside, both the private deck and fire pit offer year-round mountain views. Stepping inside Dome House, the main living area is an open layout with easy flow between the dining area, open kitchen, and living room. A wood stove is the main attraction of the living room, helping to keep you and your guests warm and cozy year round. Two large bedrooms are located on the first floor, as well as a full bathroom and convenient laundry area. Upstairs there is a large open loft with a second full bathroom, which could be great as your primary bedroom. Currently, the loft is a second living room for games and movie nights, and extra sleeping space for larger groups when necessary. Fully renovated in 2019, the house was updated with new insulation, floors, kitchen, bathrooms, water heater, and wood stove. More recently the house got a new deck, roof, gutters, and a fresh paint job. All of the furnishings are available for separate purchase, so all you would need to do is bring a suitcase. When you’re ready to venture out of this cozy retreat, Dome House is less than 10 minutes to Livingston Manor where you can enjoy popular cafes, wine bars, coffee shops, and shopping. The convenient location, mountain views, and modern interior have helped make Dome House a successful short-term rental since 2019.
